Smerdon Racing is a small boutique stables having access to world class training facilities located in Ballarat, central Victoria.
Matt is 7th generation horse trainer. Growing up within the racing industry, Matt has been a successful horse breaker and is a well-known horseman. Working through the ranks, breaking, pre training and working alongside successful horse trainers to build his knowledge.

The track is only an hour from Melbourne’s major metropolitan racetracks Flemington and Moonee Valley and is also less than an hour’s drive from 10 other racetracks including Geelong, Werribee and Ararat.
